Your new website.
Look first, then decide.

We'll design a real homepage for your business — in 3 days, on a private link that won't show up in Google. Only if you like it do we talk about price and care.

A real homepage, not a screenshot. On a private link, kept out of Google.

How this goes

How this goes.

Most small-business websites are quietly falling behind. Built once, by someone who has since moved on. Nothing is broken, exactly — but nothing is being looked after either. This is the least effortful way to find out what the alternative looks like.

  1. Tell us about your business.

    10 minutes

A short form, in your own words. What you do, who comes to you, what you'd want people to find.

  2. We design a real homepage.

    3 days

Not a template with your logo dropped into it. An original design for your business, with your content, that works properly on a phone.

  3. You look, in your own time.

    link live for 30 days

Open it, show your team, sleep on it. If it isn't right, say so — that's the end of it.

Michael Fried-Kaplan, München

Who's behind this

You're dealing with me.

I'm Michael Fried-Kaplan. I build and look after websites for small businesses — from München, on my own, and that's deliberate. No rotating account managers, no ticket numbers. You write to me, I answer. Usually the same day, at the latest the next working day.

No ticket system.
Here's my email address: michael@thesoft.world
Your credentials are yours.
Domain, content, access — all of it in your name.
And if I ever stop:
You can take your website with you whenever you want. I'll help with the move. It isn't a dispute.

Customer area

A quiet place to check in.

Your customer area shows what matters and nothing else: how your site looks right now, whether it's reachable, when it last changed, and when it was last backed up.

Prices and terms

Two numbers. Both fixed.

990 € once, to build your website.

That covers the concept, design, build, and launch of your website.

Then 12,99 € a month, including VAT.

That covers hosting, backups, updates, small changes, and one person to ask.

No setup fee hidden in the small print, no cheap first month that goes up afterwards. You'll get both numbers alongside your preview — in writing, with everything that's included. Nothing gets built before that.

What costs extra
Domain fees, an online shop, larger applications. We tell you beforehand.
How you leave
Hosting can be cancelled monthly. The domain is yours, so is the content. If you move to someone else, we help.

Questions

Questions people actually ask.

What does the preview really cost me?

Nothing. You get a design of your homepage on a private link. If you decide not to go ahead, there's no cost and no obligation. Nothing gets built until a price is agreed in writing.

What happens to my current website and domain?

Nothing, unless you want it to. Your existing site stays online while you look at the preview. You keep your domain; if you do want to move, we set the switch up together so your site stays reachable throughout.

Who owns what in the end?

You do. The domain is in your name, the content and photos are yours, and you get the credentials. We manage it for you; we don't hold on to it.

What if I don't like it?

Then you say so, and that's the end of it. The private link expires by itself after 30 days. There's nothing to cancel and nothing to return.

What if you stop doing this one day?

A fair question to ask a one-person business. That's why nothing depends on me: the domain is in your name, you can export your content at any time, and the site runs on ordinary technology any other agency can take over. If I do stop, I'll give you notice and help with the move.

Does my website have to be accessible?

Possibly not — and few people are telling you that right now. Germany's Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz has applied since 28 June 2025 to certain consumer-facing services, such as online shops and bookings. Micro-enterprises with fewer than ten staff and no more than two million euros in annual turnover are exempt when providing services. Whether it applies to you depends on what you offer; we'll look at it with you and tell you honestly. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA regardless, because it makes the site better for everyone — including you, in the sun, on site. This isn't legal advice.

AI strategy

Make AI useful to your business — not merely present in it.

We start with the work your team already does: where time is lost, where knowledge gets stuck, where customers wait. That becomes a plan the business can actually carry forward.

  1. Map real work
  2. Prioritise value
  3. Assess risk
  4. Choose a pilot
  5. Measure the result
